Topic- If I could change the world

If I could change the world I would get rid of pumpkin pies, the color black, and guns it sounds like a funny, crazy list to get rid of but I have my reasons.

First I would get rid of pumpkin pies. It was Easter time, and I was about 11 years old, I and my grandma were in the middle of making a pumpkin pie, but she forgot something so she went to the store. She left me home alone. She was only gone for about 5 minutes. I heard a car crash, I walked out side and I saw my grandma’s car. I didn’t know what to think. I thought it was a dream, but I realized it wasn’t when I saw the police come by me. Now every time I see a pumpkin pie I think of her.

I’d get rid of the color black because I think black is a depressing color. Every were I look I see the color black. Why black? Why not red, purple, or yellow. Every time I see the color black I am not so cheerful, as I am when I am around bright colors.  Why do people use dark colors like black to make things cheerful? Its black, you wear it when you go to funerals. I also don’t like the color black because I had to wear the color to my grandmas funeral.

Finally, I would get rid of guns. I would get rid of guns because I lost my uncle last year. My uncle was a nice man. He never did anything to anyone. He was just walking down the street and he was caught in the middle of a drive by. He took 3 bullets to his chest. He was in the hospital for about 4 days before he passed away. He past away the day his son was born. Now we don’t celebrate my cousin’s birthday, until like a day or 2 later.

So, to make my idea of a better world I’d get rid of pumpkin pies, the color black, and guns.
